Wipes are weekly now, so every Thursday is a fresh start. Here is how a week on Haven runs, and what you keep from one wipe to the next.
Thursday, 7pm: the wipe
The map, bases and items reset at 7pm UK time every Thursday. On the first Thursday of the month Facepunch releases the game update and every Rust server wipes, so on those days we come back once the update is live, which can be a little after 7pm. The countdown on the home page always shows the next wipe.
The first night
Everybody starts on the same footing. With 2x gather and stacks, fast smelting and blueprints shared across your team, groups get from a sleeping bag to a stone base quickly, and the first raids tend to start the same night. Groups are capped at four with no allies, so nobody gets rolled by a fifteen-man on day one.
Through the week
The leaderboards count everything. Kills, deaths, NPCs, animals, helicopters, Bradleys, farming and building all count towards this wipe's boards and your all-time stats.
Points add up. 5 for every hour you play, 10 for every day you come back (more the longer your streak), and 25 every time you vote on the Points page. You can vote once every 12 hours.
Short of a teammate? Post on the team board. Your real kills, deaths and hours on Haven show under your post, so people know who they are teaming with.
Thursday, just before 7pm: the prizes
The wipe boards close when the server wipes, and whoever is in the top three at that moment is paid in Points automatically. Nobody has to claim anything.
Top Fragger: 3 for every kill, minus 1 for every death. 300, 200 and 100 Points for first, second and third.
Top Hunter: 1 for every NPC and animal, 25 for a patrol helicopter, 20 for Bradley. 150, 100 and 50 Points for first, second and third.
What carries over
Your Points balance.
Your rank, if you have bought one. Ranks are permanent.
Your account on this site and your all-time stats.
Your team on the team board.
What does not carry over: the map, your base, your loot and this wipe's leaderboards. See you on Thursday.
